These two images provide an excellent example of how a professional 're-finish' can bring your watch back to it's as-new condition.
Here we can see some of the most common damage found on a watch of this type. The shoulder has been knocked against a wall leaving deep scratches in the steel.
Even under close inspection, we can see on the after image that the damage has been completely removed.

The dirt that accumulates between the links on these bracelet watches can be completely removed during the ultra-sonic cleaning process as part of a case & bracelet re-finish. |

As you can see the watch had a large scratch running across the case back.
During the refinishing process, our experienced staff are able to remove such marks.
The case back on this model is Galbeé (curved), so the mark cannot be removed on a flatbed. It is, therefore, removed using a Manhattan Wheel. This is a hard, rubber carborundum wheel that revolves at 1400 rpm.
Once the mark has been removed the satinised effect is generated by using a soft abrasive Scotchbrite wheel, turning at the same speed.
